I always stay here because it has everything I need: free Wi-Fi, parking, a bar, and a restaurant. The staff even helped me with my suitcases on my first visit. I'm coming back for the weekend!

We got great value for our money at this hotel, with comfortable rooms and excellent service from the staff. The location near the river provided beautiful walks and a charming, unspoilt atmosphere. Definitely a gem for adventurous foodies looking for something different.

Breakfast items could be improved with the inclusion of ceramic cups or bowls for coffee. While the enamel mugs fit with the hotel's style, some guests may prefer a different option for their hot drinks.

The setting is rural and serene,the cuisine is superb and innovative to the point of eccentricity and humour.best ever frogs legs,best ever ris de veau and excellent help with food allergies.has a well deserved michelin one star,without any hint of taking itself too seriously. Perhaps the first clue of this is that the menu is a single sheet,presented with a flourish in a [carefully]crumpled--up manner, which serves notice that you are dining in a deconstructed gourmet restaurant-- not your parents one-star! Stayed two nights and absolutely loved the experience.

we loved the location which was right on the bend of a river with lovely walks. It was also walking distance to the beautiful town of Montreuil. The food and was excellent while pricey.

The colour of the bedrooms ( very green!) took some getting used to.

For families, it would be great to have a designated play area for the children.

Unser Zimmer war sehr sauber und komfortabel, mit allem, was wir brauchten. Das Badezimmer war ebenfalls sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, und das Frühstück war sehr lecker und vielfältig. Uns hat auch die schöne Aussicht von unserem Zimmer gefallen. Außerdem gab es einen eigenen Parkplatz, den wir nutzen konnten.

Bedauerlicherweise war es nicht möglich, nach neun Uhr abends noch etwas zu trinken zu bekommen. Das war etwas enttäuschend, als wir wieder ins Hotel zurückkamen.

La Grenouillere was certainly a gourmet experience. The decor was modern, clean and comfortable but not as we remembered it. However, we enjoyed the whole experience. We had an apperitif in the garden, served beautifully with amuse bouche, however I would have preferred a more comfortable seat, rather than a tree stump! The breakfast in the garden was fun and delightfully different.

Cost of a spirits from the bar were high.

This hotel offers great value for money, with affordable prices for both the rooms and the restaurant. The attention to detail is evident throughout the establishment, from the beautiful view of the wilderness from the rooms, to the basic amenities that are provided. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant and comfortable stay. The location of the hotel is also a major plus, as it is situated right by a river outside the town of Montreuil-sur-Mer, making it a perfect spot for walks and easy access to nearby attractions. Furthermore, the breakfast served in the charming breakfast garden-boudoir is a delightful experience, with homemade goodies and a lovely atmosphere.

One minor issue was that the room had not been thoroughly cleaned, as I found a paper menu from 2 weeks ago on the floor just under my bed. However, this did not greatly affect my overall enjoyment of the stay.

After many, many visits, I was initially shocked to find it so changed, but I was converted by the very imaginative new set-up, and the food remained worth travelling to France for - excellent.

There was a tv in the room with about 100 channels in French and German, half of which were pornographic - that is ok, chaque un a son goute. It would have been nice to have at least one news programme in English for visiters from those countries where English is understood - like half the world! As a smoker, it would have been nice if there was somewhere outside where one could sit in comfort, possibly under canvas.

Exceptional experience, superb restaurant, delightful staff, enchanting wild flower garden, comfortable room with stylish design.

the hotel and situation was charming and relaxing .The restaurant was outstanding and was a truly superb gastronomic experience.Continental breakfast was simple but beautifully presented with homemade jams .We will certainly return.

We had an outstanding experience at this hotel-restaurant. Everything was impeccable, from the clean and well-maintained facilities to the amazing staff who went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. The location was great, with a beautiful river running right by it, providing picturesque views from our room. The breakfast was delicious and diverse, and we appreciated the parking and available transportation options.

Nothing could have been better. Our stay far exceeded our expectations.

Very convenient for the fantastic restaurant.

The quality of the 2 rooms we had was very different though they were the same price. Lack of effective curtains in the bathroom which faced the road.

The location of the hotel was superb, with a beautiful river right next to it. The room was modern, well-designed, comfortable and had excellent facilities. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The restaurant was outstanding, with an imaginative culinary experience.

The breakfast was not up to the mark, with uncomfortable seating and the use of melamine plates.
